Munich office

Our team in Munich consists of IT consultants and software development experts who work in close proximity with our customers in the DACH region, either at our customer’s location or in our office in Munich-Unterhaching. We combine a self-motivated and independent working style with team spirit, flat hierarchy and an open working environment. Being at the forefront of innovation is what keeps us motivated. Each employee is provided an individual development path, with mentoring, coaching and relevant trainings. We enjoy the work-life-balance and flexible working hours. Our team in Zwolle consists of IT consultants and software development experts who work in close proximity with our customers in the Benelux region, either at our customer’s location or at our office in Zwolle. We combine a self-motivated and independent working style with team spirit, flat hierarchy and an open working environment. Being at the forefront of innovation is what keeps us motivated.   • Munich office: Lead Developer

    Trivium is hiring a Lead Developer for its Munich office.

    You will be part of our software development team and responsible for the development of complex applications for customers in the area of Industrial Internet of Things. Our teams are international: based out of our office in Munich-Unterhaching as well as at our state-of-the art development center in Bangalore.

    Your role will include:

    • Analysis of customer requirements
    • Creation of solution concepts and software architectures
    • Building and developing customer relationships
    • Leading international, geographically distributed teams
    • Leading and actively participating in software implementation
    • Managing roll-out and support of applications within the customer organization

    Required Qualifications:

    As a lead developer Trivium you have a degree in computer science or a comparable subject. You enjoy working in a highly motivated team with an international mindset and an open culture. You have a deep understanding of agile software development and quality management. Ideally, you have gathered several years of experience (7+ years) in the area of software development and have developed into the role of a technical project lead and / or software architect. You are used to working independently and have a structured approach to problem solving.

    In particular, following qualifications are key:

    • Software architecture and design
    • Agile Software Development, e.g. SCRUM, SAFE
    • Technical lead for mid to large software development projects in the context of an agile team
    • Development of enterprise applications in multiple technology stacks (e.g. Java, Analytics, Front-End technologies like Angular, mobile technologies)
    • Microservice architecture and scalability in the cloud (e.g. with AWS, Azure)
    • DevOps
    • Fluency in German and English

    Many of our projects are based out of our office in Munich-Unterhaching or at customer sites in the greater Munich area. However, we do have engagements that are outside of Munich, so you should be ready for some travel.

    Trivium is hiring a (senior-)software developer for its Munich office.

    You will be part of our agile software development team and responsible for the development of complex applications for customers in the areas of Geosurveying, Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things.

    Your role will include:

    • Analysis of customer requirements
    • Creation of solution concepts and software architectures
    • Development of complex, platform-independent software applications
    • Implementation, integration and testing, applying agile methodologies (esp. SCRUM)
    • Active contribution to international, geographically distributed agile teams

     

    Required Qualifications:

    You have a degree in computer science or a comparable subject. You enjoy working in a highly motivated team with an international mindset and an open culture. You have a deep understanding of agile software development. Ideally, you have gathered several years of experience in the area of software development and are used to working independently and have a structured approach to problem solving. You are passionate about learning / using newest tools & technologies with a curiosity for IoT technologies, cloud services, map data service providers and map visualization.

    In particular, following qualifications are key:

    • Deep knowhow in modern C/C++
    • Knowledge of Python, CMake, Conan
    • Solid Software Engineering Background: Design Patterns, Clean Code, TDD
    • Exposure to various operating systems (Windows, Linux) is beneficial
    • Exposure to the areas of machine control and measuring devices is beneficial
    • Exposure to Qt/QML and programming languages like C#/.Net is beneficial

    Trivium is hiring an intern / a working student (Werkstudent) for its Munich office.

    You will be part of our software development team and responsible for the development of complex applications for customers in fields as diverse as the Internet of Things and Digitalization in the Financial Services industry. Our teams are international: based out of our office in Munich-Unterhaching as well as at our state-of-the art development center in Bangalore.

     

    Your role will include:

    • Implementation and testing of complex software applications
    • active contribution to international, geographically distributed agile teams
    • roll-out and support of applications within the customer organization

    The internship / working student engagement should have a duration of at least 6 months, with the option of extension. During this period you should be available at least 40% (2 full days per week).

     

    Required Qualifications:

    You currently studying computer science or a comparable subject and have completed at least 3 semesters. You enjoy working in a highly motivated team with an international mindset and an open culture. You have a strong understanding of software development.

    In particular, you should have know-how in some of the following technologies:

    • Front-end technologies (e.g. Angular2)
    • Java / JEE
    • Databases

    You should be fluent in German and English.

    Students who are close to completion of their studies and are looking for a potential extension of the internship into a full-time contract following their graduation are especially encouraged to apply.
